Michael Mills Productions Ltd. - Founded in 1974, is the oldest, established, commercial production animation house in Canada. The studio employs over 15 industry professionals providing the latest technology and expertise in creative illustration, design, and production for the Film and Advertising Industries.

Well diversified in all aspects of animation for the Advertising and Film Industries, we have registered the trademark "THUMBNAIL®" to be the umbrella name of our activities. After all, every great idea starts with a THUMBNAIL sketch.

Over the past 25 years, the Studio has produced over one thousand TV commercials using various animation styles and techniques for both National and International advertisers, winning many of the top international awards at the world TV Commercial Festivals.

The company has established itself as a highly creative studio, credited with developing new projects and animation techniques. The company has an enviable record of success, with unsurpassed experience in half hour television series, specials, short films, spot commercials and interactive CD-ROM's.

Michael Mills' career began in London, England - where his success story began capturing numerous marketing awards for his talents as an animator.

In 1967, he came to Canada joining the National Film Board as the Animator/Director, where he won numerous awards including; two Oscar nominations for Evolution, History of the World in Three Minutes Flat, and was executive producer and distributor for the Oscar winning film "Charade".

In 1996, Michael Mills was invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Los Angeles. He is a nominating and full voting member.
